Engineering

• Designed and prepared CATV plans for both standard and turnkey operations.
  Types of projects have included new CATV plant, system rebuild or modernisation
  (500MHz., 625MHz., 750MHz., and 862MHz.), and fibre optic cable deployment(HFC).
  To date, we have completed successful modernisation plans for in excess of 5,500km
  of coaxial cable plant on behalf of various clients.
• Designed and prepared drawings, for conduit infrastructures, direct buried
  telecom/CATV plant, and natural gas pipeline. Procured approved permit
  documentation for same.Performed network surveys according to clients'
  requirements.Designed and prepared HFC (Hybrid Fibre / Coax) modernisation plans,
  including turnkey construction plans for the placement of over 1,750km of fibre
  optic cable in ring architecture and FTF (Fibre to the Feeder) applications.
  Developed and designed Fibre Optic Cable routes (best route engineering),
  including turnkey construction plans for the placement of over 1500km of fibre
  optic cable in various architectures pertaining to the Telecommunications Industry.
• Designed and prepared drawings for broadband distribution systems within
  MDU (Multiple Dwelling Unit) buildings, totalling more than 65,000 units.

Buried Cable and Utilities Locating Services

• Provide on an ongoing basis contracted cable locations services for an MSO
  owned CATV system and a broadband telecom company comprising 3,600km
  coaxial cable and 2,500km fibre optic cable, in a major metropolitan center .
• Provide custom services for the detection and marking of underground
  facilities for general contractors and others.

Consulting

• Implemented an integrated AutoCAD™ environment in client's Planning Department
• Conducted feasibility studies and technical components assessments for CATV projects.
• Conducted feasibility studies and budget reports for fibre optic network expansion.
• Trained CATV professionals in the use of AutoCAD™, and the application of project
  management tools.
• Performed various software/hardware systems evaluations that assisted clients
  in reducing costs and increasing productivity within their operations.

Project Management

• Co-ordinated Public Utilities plant installations (water, sewers, electricity,
  gas, cable, and telephone) for property developers.
• Planned CATV modernisation projects for Multiple Systems Operators (MSO).
